The Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of programmatic advertising operations across the company's digital advertising ecosystem, including Display, Online Video (OLV), Connected TV (CTV), and CTV Out-of-Home (CTV OOH). This role focuses on implementing and maintaining programmatic supply and demand integrations, executing technical configurations, managing inventory, and supporting the ongoing operation of the company's advertising technology platforms.
The Ad Operations Specialist serves as the primary execution resource for operational requests, working from Monday.com tickets and collaborating with Revenue Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, and Account Management to ensure timely, accurate implementation and optimal platform performance.
Execute daily operational requests assigned through Monday.com
Complete tasks accurately and within established service level expectations
Prioritize assignments in coordination with the Manager, Ad Operations
Document completed work and implementation details
Escalate technical issues and blockers when appropriate
Execute programmatic supply and demand implementations across Display, OLV, CTV, and CTV OOH inventory
Configure and maintain publisher inventory, demand sources, and monetization settings
Support new partner onboarding and platform configurations
Assist with optimization initiatives under the direction of the Manager, Ad Operations
Support the administration and daily operation of advertising technology platforms, including:
SpringServe
Publica
Xandr
Indicue
Elemental
Additional ad serving, SSP, and monetization platforms as required
Responsibilities include:
Platform configuration
Inventory management
Placement creation and maintenance
User support
Basic platform troubleshooting
Configuration updates
Execute and support implementation of:
VAST tag creation and validation
Ad tag creation and troubleshooting
Placement ID creation and management
Prebid adapter integrations
OpenRTB (oRTB) integrations
SSP and DSP onboarding
Header bidding implementations
Supply source integrations
Demand partner integrations
API and endpoint testing in coordination with Technical Operations
Monitor programmatic delivery and platform health
Identify supply and demand issues affecting monetization
Review fill rates, win rates, and delivery metrics
Assist with supply path optimization efforts
Support partner onboarding, testing, and troubleshooting
Perform routine operational audits to ensure proper platform configuration
Perform QA testing for new integrations and platform changes
Validate tags, placements, and inventory configurations
Troubleshoot delivery, targeting, and integration issues
Investigate discrepancies between platforms and reporting systems
Assist in resolving billing and reporting discrepancies
Verify implementation accuracy prior to deployment
Maintain operational documentation and implementation records
Update internal knowledge base and technical procedures
Track completed tickets and implementation status
Document recurring issues and recommend process improvements
Provide status updates to the Manager, Ad Operations
2–4+ years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic advertising, or ad operations
Working knowledge of digital advertising operations and programmatic advertising
Understanding of Display, OLV, CTV, and CTV OOH ecosystems
Experience working with ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, or monetization platforms
Working knowledge of:
VAST
OpenRTB
Header bidding
Prebid
SSP/DSP integrations
Programmatic advertising workflows
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail and execution quality
Ability to manage multiple operational requests in a fast-paced environment
